Equivalent monthly cost with 12-month prepayment: Standard $14.25; Medium $16.00; Large $20.00. These are monthly equivalents of prepaid annual rates, not month-to-month rental plans.
Additional fees: $10 setup fee per name. Excess package fees start at $1 per package after the first 10 packages in a month. Storage, oversized-package, or heavy-package fees may also apply. Ask us for details.
How to Open a Private Mailbox
The United States Postal Service requires a completed PS Form 1583 (Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent) and two acceptable forms of identification. We also require a completed Eugene Mailbox service agreement. We prepare the forms when you set up service at our location.
Primary ID: Current Photo Identification
Provide one acceptable, unexpired photo ID:
- U.S. state, territorial, or tribal driver's license or non-driver identification card
- U.S. passport, passport card, or foreign passport
- Uniformed service identification card
- U.S. university or college identification card
- Matricula Consular (Mexico) or NEXUS (Canada) identification
- Certificate of U.S. citizenship or naturalization
- Permanent resident card or another eligible identification card issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
Secondary ID: Address Verification
Provide a separate acceptable document showing your current address:
- Driver's license or state identification card (if not used as your primary ID)
- Current lease, mortgage, or deed of trust
- Vehicle registration
- Voter registration
- Home or vehicle insurance policy
Important: Two separate forms of ID are required. The same document cannot serve as both your primary and secondary ID. Contact us if you have questions about acceptable identification.
Business Mailboxes
If the mailbox will receive mail for a business, we may also need documentation showing the business name and ownership, such as an Oregon Secretary of State registration or articles of incorporation.
A private mailbox is a mailing address only. Although it uses a street address, it is not a substitute for a registered-agent address or a principal place of business and should not be represented as a staffed business location on services such as Google Maps. Opening a Mailbox Remotely
